Months ago I picked up several of these photo frames from Michael's Craft Store.
You know in their $1 bins that usually have the most random of things.
I died at the cuteness of these and knew I would find something to make out of them.
I am TERRIBLE at taking off my wedding band when I was dishes or do house work.
I leave it on and it gets so dirty, not to mention the countless times I knock it on the inside of the washing machine or rip a rubber glove cleaning the toilets. *blah*
So I decided to make a cute little ring rest/holder.
I promise to TRY and remember to take it off more during chores and before bed.
I mean, hey with a cute stand to display it on...how could I forget?
Let's move on to the project.
A majority of this project were $1 items.
Materials Used:
Dollar Tree sponge rollers
Flower Embellishments $1 Michael's bins
$1 photo frame Michael's bins
Fabric quarter less then $2 Hancock Fabrics
Fabric Scissors
Hot glue/Gun
*optional...string of pearls*
CW from top lft:
*Remove the plastic shield from the frame. This one was plastic so I just pulled it off.
*Measure out the fabric using the photo insert from the frame.
You will want about a 1 inch over hang on each side.
*Take your sponge from your curler and hot glue the ends of the fabric to the sponge.
*Roll a couple times until the sponge is covered.
*Do this step on the opposite end with the other sponge.
Leave about a 1 inch gap between the 2 sponges.

CW from top lft:
*Pinch the fabric rolled sponges together.
*Insert into the photo frame and hot glue the ends down to the frame.
*Cut away any excess fabric that hangs out of the back of the frame.
*Add pearls around the edges to hid the gathering of the fabric.
*Embellish with a small flower, or any other item of your choice.

Now you have a cute little area just for your ring.
Take this idea further and use a larger frame.
Now you have a "ring bearers pillow"

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing :)
