Lorac Pro Palette...

I have been on a beauty buying kick lately.
With the season change I find my beauty routine changing.
I am reaching for warmer colors. More of a natural look with dark berry lips. How about you?
One of my pre-fall purchases was the Lorac Pro Palette.
I talked about it here in my November Favorites.

The Lorac Pro Palette...in my opinion is a beauty staple.
If you had to buy a neutral palette...I would recommend THIS ONE.

You can find this palette at your local Ulta or online.
I feel that it is worth every penny.

For $42 you get 16 shades of awesomeness PLUS a shadow primer.
8 matte shades (top row)
8 shimmer shades (bottom row)

You can use this palette in the wet or dry form.
I personally have never used it wet...
just because the colors are SO pigmented...I don't need to.
The formula is soft like butta. A soft swipe of your brush will leave you will a nice amount of shadow. Because of the texture the colors are easy to blend.
Normally matte colors are somewhat difficult to blend. Not the case with these.
I like that the top row of colors are similar to the bottom row
with the difference in matte and shimmer.

Above I have swatched the palette without primer.
You can see how crazy awesome they are.
My skin tone is somewhat naturally tan because I am half Hispanic, the colors show up phenomenal.
I have never had any problem with shadow creasing. The shades last ALL day for me.

The down side to this palette...I know it is not really an issue...but the actual palette itself is a matte material. So as you can see...shadows and finger prints leave it a hot mess. I am meticulous about my palettes and it drives me nuts. Other then that...the packaging is sleek... the cover folds back like a notebook. There is a magnetic closure. I mean it is a total WIN.

My favorite colors from this palette are:
Champagne
Taupe
Gold
Pewter
Espresso

If you are interested in this palette...run...not walk to your local Ulta and test it out.
I guarantee you will want to add it to your Christmas list...
I have a feeling it is going to be the most purchased palette this season.

P.S Thank you Nat for recommending this palette. I heart your taste in makeup!
