A new year...A new Link Up!

Friends! I hope your Christmas was magical.
I hope your tykes got everything on their wish list and then some warm and fuzzy family time.

Last week I mentioned in a cliff hanger that there was something new and exciting in the works for 2013.
If you remember me telling you, Maria with Agape Love Designs and Photography and I were planning on hosting.... *insert singing ray of light*
MAKEUP MONDAY

ShabbyKitteh

What I didn't tell you was, that this is a party you can jump in on.
Not only will we be showing fun makeup looks, reviews, tutorials and ideas...this is also a link party.
So YOU can share your ideas, reviews and so on.
Maria and myself will also be blog stalking you and your posts.
There may be a chance for extra exposure and a personal feature the following Monday! OH YA!
Not to mention Twitter, Instagram and Facebook love.
Oh yes...let me also mention that we will also have some giveaways.
So take a minute to hit that follow button on the Right >>>>
Then head over to Maria's page and follow her too!
Grab the button above and link it in your beauty posts.

....EKKKKK....
How excited am I!
Since I already share a whole lot of beauty on my blog,
this is just my niche'.

Also since this is just a new party and it takes a minute for the word to spread where the fun is...
Tell a friend and feel free to link up old an beauty post or 5...

I don't want to totally leave you hanging today with out any substance in a post...
Let me share with you two new palettes to my "stash".
E.L.F Neutrals and Brights. (I think that is what this one is called)
Both Palettes I found at Walgreens for under $5.00.
They are also available on the ELF website.

I had purchased these as a gift for my sister.
I ended up really liking the palettes I kept a set for myself.
32 Shadows for $5 was a great deal.

The colored palette has enough shades to create an everyday neutral eye
PLUS have colors to mix it up and be adventurous.
Both palettes are combined with matte, pearl and shimmer shades.
The color pigment is very nice.
Each swatch was only one swipe with my fingers...no color base or primers were used.
*those jewel tones swatched above would be a fun look*

Each palette comes with a sponge applicator...not good quality.
Then again I never use sponge applicators.

Did you happen to grab these palettes for yourself?
What do you think?
I will be working on some looks using both palettes for our Makeup Monday linky party.
I would love it if you linked up your look too!

  2. I wish I would have picked one of these up for myself. I actually purchased one for my boyfriend's little sister, who is only a freshman. She wanted neutral eyeshadows for Christmas and I knew I couldn't go wrong with this!

    1. I know they still have the palettes online at the actual ELF site. Not sure if they are under $5 though. With all their free shipping and sales you may still be able to score a good deal. I did get an email from them about the 144 shadow palette is free right now with a $20 order. Good Luck!
      xx
